MOTHER AND SON
This was a moment in March this year when families could see each other for the first time as the pandemic restrictions eased, so it was really special to photograph mother and son together in the grounds of Frogmore House, a place with so much royal history.
I had photographed them planting a tree and I was asked to go on with them to take a portrait in the gardens and somebody said: “Lead the way.” I realised I was leading the royal convoy to a location I had only briefly visited beforehand.
I looked in my wing mirror and there was the Queen, the head of the Commonwealth, driving behind me and the Prince of Wales driving the car
