WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO JOIN MOTIFS?

From granny squares to hexagons to flowers, crocheting motifs is hooky heaven! There are loads of different ways to join crochet motifs to make a larger fabric, such as a shawl, blanket or cardigan.

You can divide most joining methods into one of two categories: needle joins, where you join motifs with a length of yarn and a large-eyed, blunt tapestry needle; and crochet joins, where you join motifs using crochet stitches, worked with yarn and hook.
