I yearn for the days when watching a TV series was an event. We had to wait so patiently for a new episode of Buffy each week, and once the season had passed, anyone with enough cash would buy the box set to binge-watch it all over again. Despite my love of Buffy, I can’t make it through my old box set, mainly because I no longer have the limber body of a teen that can lie on the couch for hours. My joints, they ache.
