FREEDOM (SORT OF)

Those bloody mates of mine do it again, the ones that live in and around sin city. “Hey Rixy, we’re doing a ride out west. Meet us at Narrandera.” You bloody bewdy. The on-again / off-again get-together is on. We’re not in lockdown – for a change. I spend the night organising accommodation; my job is to arrange a nice place for dinner in Mildura. All sorted. As I’m laying out stuff for the ride, some idiot gets COVID and it’s out again in Melbourne. Fingers crossed they’ll leave country Victoria alone. Oh no, the talking heads force us all back into lockdown.
