    Sound moderators for both rimfire and centrefire rifles are essential in the sporting market these days. This is to enable a shooter to fire a centrefire rifle without ear defenders – to enjoy total flash elimination and less recoil.

    Since the introduction of the Vaime and Reflex designs over 20 years ago, the suppressor market has accelerated in the UK. British shooters now have an array of rimfire and centrefire moderators to choose from.

    If you are thinking of using a moderator, it’s worth considering a few facts to enable you to get the best one for your needs.
