How to Fit a Saddle Seat

STEP 1: Start by aligning the leather with the lines created in the saddle seat, on the back of the seat, and in the front with the cantle and the front of the seat, so it’s centered.

STEP 2: Align your ears with the marks you created to get yourself started. Make sure they are center with your line, then you can put your screw or nail in to set the ears in place.

Note: Don’t worry if a wrinkle in the seat appears, most seats have that. You will try to compress that as you go.

After strapping your seat down, you will work on compressing the wrinkle out of your seat.
