Sometimes I get to the office and I can’t believe we’re here from the early days,” reflects 38-year-old Aaron Barker. Those early days were back in 2010, when newlyweds Aaron and Emmy shipped products out of their apartment during their college years.
Aaron comes from pioneer roots and is only a generation removed from the farm. His dad did some leatherwork as a hobby and would make things that he could use, like holsters and rifle slings. It was only natural that Aaron started playing with leather when he was about 10 years old.
“I was always trying to wrap things I wanted to use in leather to protect them,” says Aaron.
