SOLONJE BURNETT WAS DRAWN TO THE CANNABIS INDUSTRY not for profit—but for “transformative progress.” The co-founder and CEO of Humble Bloom in Brooklyn, New York was attracted to the chance at “shifting minds and hearts to affect behaviors and beliefs.”

After abruptly losing her position at Live Grey in 2017, Burnett was trying to figure out her next move. That’s when she and her business partner Danniel Swatosh came up with the idea for Humble Bloom, a cannabis experience and consulting agency with the goal of providing a “seat at the table for the underrepresented.”
