GREEN-THUMBED GODDESSE

IT ALL STARTED WITH FIVE MYSTERY SEEDS dropped off into my mailbox by a friend. I grew those outside in 15-gallon nursery pots on the deck until the rains came in September. I could see that the girls were crying for help and knew that I had to do something or risk losing the months of care and effort I had put into my plants.

I’m pretty handy, and with the help of my spouse we converted an old walk-in cooler into a makeshift growing room to protect them from the elements and finish them off inside. As I nurtured them and watched them grow, I became more and more excited and invested in my prized plants. Out of pure passion I started to educate myself more about cannabis specifically. To my pleasant surprise I harvested just under two pounds off my first grow. Once I could finally sit back and enjoy the fruits of my labour, I decided to take this budding hobby just a little more seriously. I started by first investing my time in learning more about the plant and what I would exactly need to be turning out top-shelf fire. Being a mother and having normal life responsibilities, I had to save for these specific purchases and slowly made my dream a reality.

Today I can proudly say I grow my own cannabis, and it is very important to me that my medicine is organic and of the best possible quality. As my close friends know I am also a self-proclaimed plant freak,
