Jazz from Motor City 2021

n April, the Detroit Jazz Festival—arguably the largest free (of charge) jazz festival in the United States—announced its 2021 with some choice images from the Motor City. Among the many other performers not seen here were Herbie Hancock, Keyon Harrold, the Manhattan Transfer, Take 6, Kenny Garrett, Gregory Porter, Aziza, Rudresh Mahanthappa, Terri Lyne Carrington, and Monty Alexander.
