It’s February 2019 when Grace and I go to our first meeting at the fertility clinic. We’ve been talking about being parents for a while. I had probably mentioned it on our first date, I can be like that: intense. I’d always imagined being a mum whereas Grace never did – wasn’t particularly against it, just never gave it much thought.
