A YEARNING FOR LEARNING

How long have you been interested in gardening and were there any friends or family members who helped to fire your enthusiasm?

My late grandmother and my mum (Mumma Learner Gardener) fuelled my passion for the garden. They were both keen and strong-minded plants-women. They empowered me to try anything I wanted in the garden and gave me the tools and support I needed to put my first trowel in the ground from a young age. From then on, my learning experience has continued.

Nowadays, I am very lucky to have Mr Learner Gardener and two step-Learner Gardener children who all share my passion. Mr LG may be a newbie to gardening but he loves his herbs and his herb pots are everywhere! I will often find him pottering about in the greenhouse looking at
