I own two old cars: a 1938 Chevy (“Sweety,” that you’ve featured in your magazine) and a 1953 Chevy 210 sedan. I recently converted the ’53 to 12 volts and ran into a bit of an issue. On about 30 percent of starts following the conversion, the starter drive would clash with the flywheel.
