Ronaldo is not right for United

Whatever else you can say about Manchester United’s leadership, they do clearly understand the value the fanbase places on former heroes. It’s hard to imagine any manager other than a popular former player being under so little pressure as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after two and a half seasons of inconsistent performances, while the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo in the transfer window has generated a clear spike in positivity.
