Year-round veg success

The first veg I ever grew were three broad bean plants. Just the three: I had no idea how many beans a plant would produce, so my entire harvest for that year amounted to just one scant meal’s worth. It didn’t matter. Those beans were by far the best I’d ever tasted. I was hooked.
