Farming for the future

What might the future of farming look like? An increasing number of farmers are turning to regenerative agriculture for the answer.

While not an easily defined term with a list of criteria and certification like organic farming, regenerative agriculture is a more holistic framework that focuses - as the name suggests - on regenerating and restoring the land. It’s a way of farming that focuses on biodiversity, soil health, carbon sequestration and enhancement of the ecosystem, using a broad range of practices and techniques.
