Whakatane Festival 1972

THIS Flashback is the first to recount an event of days past. Previous Flashbacks have all centred on cars and their history, but we think there’s an equal number of memories based around the things we did, the places we went and the people we met. This Flashback is heavy on people shots, thanks to Allan Porter, who captured the fun and frivolities on film. Allan shot 320 photos on ten rolls of black and white film and one of colour.
