CyberPower SL700U Standby UPS: Great for keeping a home network going during power outages

The eight-outlet CyberPower SL700U has a problem: It’s neither fish nor fowl. This well-made, relatively compact unit can provide backup power of up to 370 watts/700 volt-amperes (VA), enough to provide standby power for about nine minutes for a modest computer, like an iMac or a midrange Dell Inspiron tower with an external monitor.
