Three arrive, two depart

Back in June’s Car Mechanics, I said that the Toyota Prius I’d owned for the past 5½ years, “wasn’t going anywhere.” That wasn’t wise as it has ‘gone’ and now lives in Leicester. In fact, over the past four months there have been three big changes to the Simpson family fleet, including both daily drivers being upgraded.

First to go was the GP53 ZBW, the Land-Rover Freelander HSE auto that Sarah’s used for the past four years. This, as I’ve mentioned previously in passing, has been replaced by
