    Kauai Writers Conference

    Kalapaki Bay on the eastern side of Kauai is a white-sand, palm-tree-festooned picture postcard come to life. It’s also the home of the three-day Kauai Writers Conference, held in person in November 2021.

    Director David Katz sees the annual event as a way to include the Hawaiian community and learn about the culture. “That’s eye-opening for many people who are coming from all over the world,” he says.
