The Show Of Their Lives

Pye Hastings has a twinkle in his eye as he contemplates who Caravan are.

“A bunch of old twats! No, it’s a collection of musicians who’ve enjoyed playing with each other for a long time.”

“I just thought, ‘Not another bloody box set.’ There have been a few in the past and I felt there was no point to having a new one. But the label [Madfish] sent me a copy of the Steve Hillage one they’d put together [Searching For The Spark, released in 2016] and I was stunned at the quality. It convinced me this was worth doing.”
