There is simply no comparing Weber’s IDA series carburetors to anything else ever used on a Beetle engine. Their size is simply imposing when compared to other Webers, and to say they are iconic would be an understatement. Let’s see what is involved in refurbishing and checking out your old set of IDAs.
You can find IDAs in a number of sizes. The old 46 IDAs (rare) were used on some Porsches and Cobras.
