Measure Wind Speed
STORE CUPBOARD:
■ 4 paper cups
■ 2 drinking straws
■ Plastic bottle
■ 4 paper clips
■ Wooden skewer
■ Cork
■ Sand
■ Ruler
■ Marker pen
■ Scissors
■ Stop watch or clock
1 Measure and mark the centre of the straws with a pencil.
2 About half way up each paper cup make two small holes in the side of the cup. Unbend a paperclip and slot through the two holes in each cup and rebend.
3 Attach two cups to each straw, facing opposite directions, by pushing the paperclips into the ends
