aving realised long ago that he can write better than he can play, Tony has penned multiple books on the six-string. His latest is (Chartwell, 2020), and he chronicles one such instrument on p82: the Epiphone Casino. “If you need a reminder of how good a Casino can be,” he says, “grab a slice by a Liverpool mob called The Beatles.” Tony isn’t so much worried about getting back to big expos… “I’ve almost forgotten what it’s like to be in a small room with people playing live music. Bring it on.”
