The Calvi Arrives Just in Time
High marks for featuring Anna Calvi [August 2020]. I was very lucky to have seen her play in a cargo ship/concert hall on the Danube in Budapest and was totally gobsmacked by her musicianship and ability. Visceral, evocative, intelligent and meaningful — she has totally been my guitar hero ever since. I want to be just like Anna Calvi.

Total Tonal Recall?
I have to thank for helping me keep my sanity during stay-at-home orders amid this pandemic. I also have to thank my awesome father-in-law for getting me a subscription! I’ve been enjoying the versatile articles, especially Tonal Recall. (I jump to the back page ASAP each issue!) Seeing [producer] John Porter write in regarding the Smiths’ Tonal Recall entry [July 2020] got me thinking: Why not do a feature 10-year is right around the corner, you know — Ed, Wolf, Al, Matt Bruck, Shanks and Hogarth could contribute)! Just food for thought as I devour every article within each month’s magazine!
