even Purple Tigers are an unlikely band. Not because of their music - if anything, they’re sonically symbiotic - but because of their geographical locations. Austin Horn is a Grand Rapids, Michigan native, while Philip Dyszy hails from the fairytale town of Freiburg, Germany, in the gothic Black Forest. After a chance meeting in the old town of Krakow, Poland in 2015, the duo struck up a musical friendship that would lead to the formation of Seven Purple Tigers. The town provided an abundance of inspiration for the musicians, its heavily creative and authentic community igniting a spark within them.
