BINARY STAR

You will need

■ Fabric 1 (four (4) different bold prints) – ¾yd of each if including scrappy binding (⅝yd of each if no scrappy binding)

■ Fabric 2 (four (4) different spot fabrics) – ⅜yd of each

■ Fabric 3 (four (4) different green/ blue solid fabrics) – ½yd of each

■ Fabric 4 (four (4) different white-on-white prints) – ¾yd of each

■ Bold print for sashing – ½yd

■ Green/blue fabric for sashing – ¼yd (or a fat eighth)

■ White-on-white print for sashing – 1½yds

■ Spot/polka dot print for outer border – 2yds

■ Backing – 5yds

■ Binding – ⅝yd if using a single fabric (Linda made a scrappy binding from leftovers)

■ Batting – 74in x 90in

■ FPP templates – 110 copies of A, 48 of B and 48 of C (See Templates section)

Finished size

■ Approx. 66in x 82in

Notes

■ Seam allowances are ¼in, unless otherwise noted.

■ Press after each seam, pressing to the side unless otherwise instructed.

■ Templates include seam allowances.

■ RS = right side.

■ WS = wrong side.
