Caraway turmeric mustard
PREP + COOK TIME 15 MINUTES (+ 3 DAYS REFRIGERATION) MAKES 1½ CUPS
You will need to start this recipe 3 days ahead.
⅓ cup (65g) yellow mustard seeds
2 tablespoons brown mustard seeds
⅔ cup (160ml) cold filtered water (see notes)
¼ cup (60ml) apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons caraway seeds
2 teaspoons grated fresh turmeric
½ teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon sea salt flakes
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons raw honey
Sterilise a 1½-cup (375ml) glass jar with a lid. See page 42 for methods.
