Q: I am trying to buy an 8.5-inch GM 10-bolt rear end. Based on the article you wrote, and the picture shown with it, the axle I am considering has all the features you mentioned, but it comes with stock disc-brake brackets. Does it mean that it’s an 8.6-inch rather than an 8.5-inch?
