Your Mac can tell you. Hold down
and click the Wi-Fi icon in your menu bar and you’ll see lots of information and an option for Wireless Diagnostics, which can help you identify and fix common problems with your Wi-Fi. You can also enable Wi-Fi logging to track intermittent problems over time.
