Hiking Trails of South Africa

There are several reasons why this guide by Willie Olivier has been reprinted eight times. It lists more than 500 local hikes, from the shortest day hikes to the wildest multi-day trails. Trails are categorised by province or region, and every section also has a map to indicate the various locations.

The trail descriptions are concise but provide necessary information like distance, estimated walking time, permit details and whether or not you can get a map at the starting point.
