A seasonal stock-take

LAST month brought the opportunity for a visit to my Yorkshire canary partner Bob Pepper’s birdroom to view and discuss this year’s crop of youngsters. It also gave me the opportunity to leave behind the last breeding adults from my room for moulting, as valuable space was required for the moulting Fife canaries in my own room. All of the youngsters had previously been dropped at Bob’s, so we have them all in one room for moulting.
