A CONFUSION OF TACKLE CHOICES

While fishing on Deal beach recently I was approached by a guy who was keen to start sea fishing. We sat for half an hour mainly talking about rods and reels and it made me realise what a minefield it could be for a new angler, particularly when spending money on a rod that might not be suitable for their type of fishing.
