This remote control Oval Window VW was produced by R. & W. Link from Schwenningen, Germany, under the brand name Mignon. Link bought the Mignon name and trademark in 1951 from the Staiger Company, and started producing toys with cable steering, but it didn’t last past the end of the decade.
