If she wins all three gold medals (in the pursuit, road race and time trial), Dame Sarah Storey will become the most gold-medal adorned Paralympic British athlete of all time, far beyond Jason Kenny’s new status and will match Michael Phelps’ total lifetime medal haul of 28 Games’ medals.

There is not one endurance paracycling race that she has entered without winning. Storey seems destined to acquire three more golds, all while running a domestic road racing team, Storey Racing, being able to recount the birthdays of every rider she’s had on the team and being active travel coordinator for Sheffield. Her abilities are near limitless.
