Here’s a car that I probably should have written about sooner, because back in the day, it was surprisingly popular, both in Europe and here in the United States. In fact, more than 1.5 million of them were produced worldwide!
The Capri occupied an unusual spot in the Lincoln-Mercury line-up as a pseudo-Mustang-type car. What made it unusual was the fact that it was a product of Ford of Europe, and that Mercury had already offered a Mustang-type car in the gorgeous Cougar.
