When a 23-year-old woman went missing in Tokyo, Japan, her brother grew concerned.
It was October 2017, and she’d shared a post on her Twitter account about taking her own life.
Worried, her brother hacked into her account, desperate to find her whereabouts before it was too late.

It looked suspicious, and the account seemed to be promoting suicide.
Direct messages he read between the pair were concerning.
Suspecting this person knew something about his sister’s disappearance, he alerted the police.
