    Sunset on the beach

    LEARNING OBJECTIVES

    ■ Create the effects of sunset on a beach

    ■ Paint reflections on sand and sea

    ■ Build brushstroke confidence

    This painting is not too complex a subject, especially as all the figures are in silhouette. Druridge bay is my local beach, here in Northumberland, and it is a gift to paint in all weather conditions.
