Shirley Fenwick Peacock Butterfly, watercolour and gouache on handmade cotton paper, 4x6in. (10x15cm). This was inspired by Milly England’s step-by-step butterfly demonstration last month. Shirley writes: ‘My father is a beekeeper, volunteer at Severn Valley Country Park, and has encouraged me to be interested in entomology. The gouache was used where I was a bit clumsy in not leaving white spaces!’
