For Singaporean singer-songwriter Inch Chua, a shift in sound is necessary to reflect her growth as an artist. “Each discography I’ve put out has a new sound, and I honestly don’t see how I would be able to stick to one with the revolving doors of interests and genres I like,” she shares. “It would be more strange if my sound doesn’t shift.”
