Up to a third of women ‘leak’ occasionally, and over three million of us regularly experience urinary incontinence, but you wouldn’t necessarily know that because it’s not something we like to discuss.
‘We tend not to talk about it, even to our doctors,’ says Dr Melanie Wynne-Jones, ‘which is a shame, as it can often be cured, or made easier to cope with.’
