GOING LIVE

I used to record radio shows on blank tapes with my sister when we were kids, and when I got to university I joined the student radio station, where I used to put together a weekly rock and metal show for a tiny audience. With that sort of history, you’d think that I would have taken to streaming more or less immediately. But I had only dabbled with streaming games on and off since 2017, playing the occasional thing here and there with no schedule. I started to do a bit more after being invited games with Sega in early 2020, and had actually planned to start a collaborative stream with a friend until the pandemic hit and ruined those plans. Ironically, it was the pandemic itself that finally gave me the impetus to start streaming consistently.
