When Danish model Maria Gregersen switched careers, becoming an interior consultant, her focus was on the renovation and restoration of period properties and her immaculately revived 19th-century villa, in Copenhagen’s hip Frederiksberg, is a perfect showcase for her design integrity. “Interiors should speak to the senses – a place where you recharge and find energy,” she says.
Maria and husband Henrik Teisbæk, founder and CEO of Veo Technologies, moved to the property she describes as “homely, bright and cosy”, three years ago when their family was expanding – they now have three young children.
“We were living in the historic Kartoffelrækkerne, the street and area itself were amazing, but I dreamed of living in a more family-friendly neighbourhood and I had a hard time finding peace in the townhouse we were in.”
