AS I mentioned last month, my Siberian thrush cock was due to go to his new home at the end of May. My report for June was submitted to Cage & Aviary Birds before the pick-up date, but on May 26 I got up early to box him up and the courier from Walkers was at the door by 6.30am to transport him to his new home.

I was very sorry to see him go but, as I explained previously, I thought it was the correct thing to do, given that I had lost the hen and I felt there was little chance of getting a replacement.
