“We were on the M40 in our new-to-us Fiat-based Hymer when there was a violent shaking. We stopped on the hard shoulder and saw that the offside rear tyre had shredded.

Our breakdown service fitted the spare and phoned round to locate another tyre. With no luck, as it was 5.30pm on a Saturday. We continued and made it to the Channel Tunnel on time.
