The thirteen-year-old Justin Spangler is hurtling towards Anglesey at unimaginable speed. More used to his father’s bumbling Morris Marina, his eyes dart down at the dials and register 150mph. His godfather is showing him just what a 911 SC can do and is forging a lifelong passion in the young petrolhead. “I’ve been all about Porsche ever since,” smiles Justin in the present. A Carrera 4 offered the ideal starting point, Justin deciding on an all-pawed variant of the G-series successor after driving a range of older 911s. “I knew within the first hundred yards that this was the car for me,” he explains. “The 964 delivers all the ‘feel’ I want.
