Could I get more State pension?

Q In the press recently there have been reports that female pensioners have not been getting their correct pension. I worked from August 1952 to March 1961 and paid full A rate National Insurance for those nine years.

After marrying my husband, I changed to B rate NI and worked until 1963 (two years’ contributions), then from 1963 to 1972 I worked part-time. After that, I went back to full-time employment until 1996, and I paid NI at the lower rate for those 24 years.
