In the previous issue, we looked at how we can combine different elements from our holiday photos (right and below) to create a new fantasy landscape. We made tracings, composed them to our liking then transferred them to paper or canvas (opposite). Now it is time to add colour and life to our Caribbean scene.

Whilst the following steps will take you through my method of painting this landscape, your fantasy world may have entirely different elements included. This is where it is time to tap into your imagination and visualise what you want to paint.
