• Berroco Vintage medium (worsted) weight acrylic/wool/nylon yarn (3½ oz/218 yds/100g per hank):
Mom: 11 (12, 12, 13) hanks #5121 sunny
Child: 6 (6, 7) hanks #5121 sunny
• Size G/6/4mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers
• Two 1¼-inch buttons (mom only)
• Two 1-inch buttons (child only)
• Blocking supplies (optional)
GAUGE
16 sc in back lps only = 4 inches
In Shell Pattern:
[1 shell, ch 2] = 1½ inches
5 dc = 1¼ inches
8 rows = 4 inches
Take time to check gauge.
PATTERN NOTES
When working into shells on all rows except last row, you will only work into the first double crochet of the shell. Skip all the other double crochet of that shell.
