The thrill of the chase

ainting people and wildlife has been my passion ever since I first wielded the brush and later set foot on African soil. I get a kick out of painting from life, like the thrill of a spy or a hunter eyeing its prey. As a painter, the eye is always mindful of the elements that feed painting – shape, space, light, tone, colour.
